In the heart of Auvergne in the Puy-de-Dôme department, our guesthouse “Au Coq Bleu” welcomes you for a relaxing stay in the heart of the Massif Central.
We invite you to our charming 1850 winemakers’ house, renovated in the tradition and providing a pleasant setting that is refreshing in summer and warm in winter.
Our various guest rooms near Issoire will meet your expectations, whether for a simple stopover or a several-day stay.
Located just a few kilometers from the A75, our guesthouse “Au Coq Bleu” has the advantage of being close to various tourist attractions in the region, such as the Vallée des Saints in Boudes, the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, the Cézallier animal park, and many more.
Not to mention our biker friends, we are listed on TripnBike, the Bikers and Riders’ relay.

The originality of the apartment lies in its completely independent bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a large bed and offers a magnificent view of the landscaped garden. The second bedroom with 2 single beds provides privacy for each of the occupants.
The bathroom and its private toilet accompany this charming suite with two beautiful, carefully decorated washbasins. This 40 m² suite can accommodate from 1 to 5 people.

Located on the ground floor, our Gîte / Studio of 23 m2 is fully equipped. It can accommodate 1 person, whether a student/intern or a person on a business trip.
The kitchen offers a nice surface with a view of the landscaped garden and the paved courtyard and includes all the necessary equipment for preparing and taking meals: hotplates, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, dishes. The terrace is accessible in good weather to enjoy meals outside.
An office space to work, a storage bed to store belongings, this studio has been designed to optimize every space. The bathroom and its toilet are private.
Entry into the studio is independent, the resident is completely autonomous in their movements as well as in the management of their meals. Breakfast is offered and the resident will also have the option to have their meals at the table d’hôtes Au coq en bouche.
Wifi access is available for a fee of 2.50€ per day of rental. A television is available in the studio. The tenant will have the option to use the washing machine.
This service will be charged X euros per use.
A clothesline and a storage room will be made available to the tenant. For long stays or any further information, please contact us.

Coming by car :
Coming from the south via the A75 motorway, take the Charbonnier-les-Mines exit, then follow the D76 towards Charbonnier-les-Mines, Brassac-les-Mines, and Sainte-Florine, and then take the D35 to the left towards Saint-Germain-Lembron. At the first intersection, turn left towards Vichel and Saint-Germain-Lembron. Cross Saint-Germain-Lembron towards Issoire, then take a left towards Boudes. Follow the Mareugheol itinerary and enter the village, where you will find Le Coq Bleu on your left.
Coming from the north via Issoire, take the direction of Vodable and Solignat. Cross Antoingt and take the D717 towards Mareugheol. Enter the village of Mareugheol and cross it. Follow the D720 towards Gignat and Saint-Germain-Lembron, and continue until you reach Le Coq Bleu on your right.
Coming by train :
From Issoire station, take the Solignat road, cross the village of Antoingt, and enter the village of Mareugheol. Cross the village and follow the D720 towards Gignat and Saint-Germain-Lembron, and continue until you reach Le Coq Bleu on your right.
